Willow Deer Sculpture Workshop - Sunday 15th December 2024

We just couldn’t resist offering this BRAND-NEW willow sculpture workshop. Imagine this magnificent creature gracing your home or garden!

Join us for this brilliantly fun workshop and revel in the creative joy of making your very own willow deer!

You will be shown the various techniques required to make your willow deer, measuring a mighty 3-4ft in height, with your experienced tutor guiding and supporting you throughout the making process. You will learn how to create the armature of your deer as well as different weaving techniques to cover the structure before then adding his nose, ears and antlers.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and will run from 10.00am until 4.30pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and all the materials to make your handsome deer will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day. Due to the nature of the workshop, we recommend wearing suitable clothing and closed toe footwear.

We are so excited to be running this suitable festive workshop - there may even be a spot of mulled wine to help you sculpt!

Our workshops are for adults aged 16+. Exceptions can sometimes be made for those aged 12-16, by prior arrangement. Booked places on our workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. If we should have to cancel a workshop for any reason, a substitute date for the same workshop will be arranged. If this cannot be achieved, a full refund will be given.
