Anodized Aluminium Workshop
Join us for this creative workshop and enjoy working with the exciting material that is anodized aluminium.
Aluminium is much easier to work with than other metals, and can be coloured using fascinating processes and decorative effects.
You will be introduced to these colouring methods and will then have the opportunity to complete two beautiful pieces; a cuff (or bookmark, if you prefer not to shape the metal), and one pair of single-drop earrings (or two single-drop pendants if you prefer).
During your day, not only you will learn how to transfer images to the aluminium and try different dye application techniques, you will also be shown how to cut and shape the metal.
Perfect for beginners, this workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm and will include a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and all the materials to make your two pieces will be provided - all you need is oodles of enthusiasm to learn a colourful new skill!
Places on this workshop are limited to 8.
