Leather Workshop - Saturday 12th October 2024

We are delighted to be announcing this brand-new workshop, an introduction to the traditional crafts of working with leather.

During this relaxed and informative workshop, you will make two fantastic items; a super handy leather phone case and a brilliantly designed leather coin purse.

To make your two items, your knowledgeable tutor will introduce you to various techniques. You will learn how to; dye and prepare leather, hand stitch using the two needle saddlery method, edge and finish the leather.

This workshop is designed for complete beginners and is a great introduction to working with leather. Once armed with your new collection of skills, you will be able to take on other projects when you get home.

The workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm, with a pause for a ploughman-style lunch. Your lunch and all the materials to make your leather phone case and leather coin purse will be provided, as will a workshop apron for you to wear during your day.

Places on this workshop are limited to 8.

Our workshops are for adults aged 16+. Exceptions can sometimes be made for those aged 12-16, by prior arrangement. Booked places on our workshops are non-refundable and non-transferable. If we should have to cancel a workshop for any reason, a substitute date for the same workshop will be arranged. If this cannot be achieved, a full refund will be given.
